Now, you will only make people in violation of the provisions of the report. So you must often decide who is you must report, if you encounter several violation. In the future, you will be less restricted some reports, you can do. However, avoid spam violates rules that reported, you can open must limit.
Further, you will reach the report in violation of the regulations of our customer support team. Now, your internal report disappears, if you out. In the future, you will still exist, even if you leave. You can tell you successfully submitted a report, you will be notified when your report.
Our customer support team will survey the background, considering each violates rules to ensure that all of the punishment is fair.
If a player should never think he was treated unfairly, he would complain like professional staff will handle complaints as soon as possible.
In our view, will become a private matter, in order to avoid any lynch legal built-in. Only in exile, customer support team players can see details and discussing.
Rules, it is not difficult to understand, that should be eliminated. For example, in many of you have told us, it is difficult to know all of the game's faults, if you are a beginner. So we're going to eliminate all game weakness. No player should be punished, it can use the built-in on technology instead of is considered to be a mistake.
All these changes will discuss the interpretation of the rules tibial unnecessary. As a player, you should report only when you feel another player he or she rules. Our customer support team decide to specific context, always consider is against the rules. According to the serious violations of rules, there should be more severe or leniency.

Strategy Guide
If you have ever played a game such as Tibia online, you are probably aware of the fact that most of these types of games have some type of strategy guide that is offered for players to gain an upper hand in leveling their character in their favorite game, such as Tibia. By using a Tibia strategy guide, players can cut down on the amount of time it takes to become a powerful and useful player, as Tibia strategy guides can cut right through a lot of the extraneous information and get right to the heart of the game. Put simply, most games such as Tibia are based on gaining XP from either killing monsters or completing quests. Unfortunately, many quests can be somewhat derivative and unnecessary, or provide very minimal rewards and XP. Knowing ahead of time which quests and monsters are actually worth dealing with and which ones should be avoided is a great help to the player and a strategy guide can provide you this exact information.
The big difficulty with Tibia strategy guides is finding one that is actually suitable for the strategy guide needs of the Tibia user. It is a simple matter to put a bunch of information between two covers and release it as a book referred to as a Tibia strategy guide. This does not mean that the strategy guide has anything in it that can help you or is even remotely useful to the serious Tibia player.
Fortunately, at MmorpGuides, there is no end to the available material and Tibia strategy guides that can help the player succeed and move beyond what is expected of new players in their favorite MMORPG. Utilizing a strategy guide from MmorpGuides can help the player in not only choosing a Tibia strategy guide but allowing the player to choose from the best strategy guides available without having to choose one of the less effective offerings.

SorcerersSorcerers are magic users
Welcome to myblog, a website containing tutorials, guides and walkthroughs for the successful Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game (MMORPG) called Tibia. We are providing a lot of tutorials for all players who are interested. We have a good range of tutorials for leveling (both manual hunting and botting) your Tibia character, whether it's a sorcerer, druid, paladin or a knight.Enjoy!
SorcerersSorcerers are magic users. Sorcerer's weapon skills are very limited so they need a lot of patience if they want to train their combat skills. They also have big mortality compared to the other vocations due to their weaker physique. However, sorcerers still have great potential. Once they reach higher levels they can obtain very dangerous and destructive spells, which makes them a very deadly vocation. They are extremely skillful in mastering fire and energy spells. An experienced sorcerer have the potential to take down the mightiest of enemies.
DruidsDruids are pure magic users. Their weapon skills are limited and their physique are weak, just like the sorcerers. The druid's masteries is healing and nature spells. The druids are the best healers among the Tibia vocations. They can make a pretty penny out of making healing runes, especially the "Ultimate Healing" rune. But the druids are not only good at healing, they can also learn some enormously deadly spells. Even though the sorcerers might be the deadliest of them all due to their offensive nature, the druids are surprisingly close.
PaladinsPaladins are balanced warriors. They are reasonable meele fighters, and they know how to handle their shields. However, even though they might be decent in close combat, that's not their main skill. The paladins are archers, and are known for their great skills in fighting at distance, with bow or spears for example. They have stronger physique than the mages, and therefore they have less mortality. They are also quite good at casting spells, obviously not as good as the mages, but still fairly good. They are the only vocation who can cast holy spells, which are very effective when fighting undeads.
KnightsKnights are the strongest, toughest and most resilient warriors in Tibia. They are close combat fighters, and can become dangerous with good meele weapons. Because of their impressive physique they can obtain incredibly good resilience. In general, knights are the hardest vocation to overcome. Another advantage of their impressive physique is that they can obtain a lot of heavy items, so they don't need to worry about their carrying capacity. However, they do have a weakness; their magic. They only know to cast a few spells, and their magic skills are very limited. Because of the fact that they mainly rely on their meele damage and only a few offensive spells they are not fast killers when it comes to harder monsters.

Tibia's community management
One of the main aspects of Tibia's community management is improving the communication between players and CipSoft. One of the main communication channels for feedback is the discussion board. There, you can comment on recent news articles or take part in discussions about different topics. This board also gives you the chance to get in direct contact with us, the community managers. We try to explain decisions, clear up misunderstandings, provide additional information, and often answer questions concerning topics that are being discussed.
Sometimes, however, Tibia's developers join a discussion for a short time to directly answer a question or add a comment on a certain issue. These have been very rare cases, though, since the main communication takes place between the players and the community managers. We are the direct link between CipSoft and you, the community. Nevertheless, players enjoy these special moments, especially when they get one of their questions directly answered by a developer. So we thought about feasible ways to provide more of these possibilities to get in contact with other CipSoft teams.
The idea of special occasions on which players can ask questions to other CipSoft departments was bouncing around in our heads for quite some time. Instead of just presenting a final result, we want to provide you a little insight into how this vague idea evolved into the concept we want to present you in this article.
It was quite clear from the beginning that such a question and answer session should have the style of an interview: replying to a question should not take longer than a few minutes and the answer itself should not be an in-depth analysis but rather a short summary and overview given by the answering person. This was a necessary precondition in order to make the whole idea feasible in terms of time and resources.
Certainly, there are lots of burning questions players would like to ask a certain CipSoft member. So at first, we thought about inviting all players to submit questions via a feedback form, selecting a few sub
missions, maybe between three and five per week, and passing them on to the product managers who then decide which CipSoft member should answer which question. To see how this would work, we made a first internal test run in which we community managers selected five frequently asked questions and handed them over to the product managers who answered them by briefly outlining the main points.
We were quite satisfied with the test run but still had our doubts because we did not like the fact of filtering questions and selecting only a few of them. The main goal of the whole idea was to bring the community and the people inside CipSoft a little bit closer together. However, we felt that selecting a few questions only would work against that goal. Also, questions would certainly deal with all kinds of topics so it would be difficult to pre-estimate which CipSoft member should better schedule some time to answer. Keeping all these things in mind, we came up with a new approach: let the community submit questions within a certain time frame but in return try to reply to every single question. We were aware that this approach would certainly require more time than just answering a few selected questions but if focused on a certain team, it would be possible to reserve some of their available time in advance so they can prepare for the question and answer session. Still, it is difficult to estimate the amount of questions that might be asked by the community. Also, the time to answer questions has to be kept to a reasonable level. 500 questions, for example, would go way beyond the scope of the session. So the overall amount of questions that get answered has to be limited to a certain number.
We started to work out a more detailed concept and in order to see if players enjoy this opportunity and if everything works the way we hope it will, we want to start a public test run within the next weeks. So here is our plan:
A thread in which you can submit questions will be opened on the discussion board within the next weeks. We can already reveal that Tibia's product management will answer your questions in the first session. The exact date of the thread start will be announced in due time together with some further instructions. Meanwhile, you can already prepare some questions you want to ask the product managers.
The thread will stay open for an amount of time which has yet to be determined. Out of all relevant questions that will be submitted during that time, 50 will be chosen randomly and get answered by the product managers in the next featured article. We decided to limit the questions in the public test run to 50 in order to see how long it will take to answer this amount.
There are a few general guidelines concerning questions you should keep in mind since some type of questions may be omitted due to one of the following reasons:
questions dealing with topics that are confidential (e.g. How does the automatic detection work? How many quests are still unsolved?)
questions that are probably better answered by another CipSoft team (e.g. a question about quest design can best be answered by the content team)
questions that are similar to a question that has already been answered
questions that are inappropriate (e.g. offensive or too personal)
So what kind of answers can you expect? That depends a lot on the quality of the questions you ask. A general and vague question about a huge topic, for example, will most likely result in a general answer as well since an in-depth analysis dealing with all aspects of the topic would go beyond the scope of the event. A clear and specific question is more likely to get a specific answer.
The name we came up with for this question and answer event is "Chill and Grill". Chill in the sense of being relaxed, taking it easy and having a good time. Yet, the featured team will probably be questioned closely and some tricky questions might make them feel as if being grilled. But maybe you have a better idea for a name that really rocks? Or do you have other suggestions you would like to share with us concerning the whole idea? Do not hesitate and let us know about it in the feedback thread. We are looking forward to your comments.

GuidesTibia
In this week's update teaser, we would like to inform you about a couple of further changes that this year's summer update will bring.
There will be changes in raids. The Horned Fox and Demodras, for example, have decided to vary their behaviour a bit. They might surprise you in different areas now, so be careful.
Also, from now on, you will be able to participate in two new events. Already in August, you can become an assistant of Jean Pierre, who is a true chef. If you are worthy, he will share some of his most secret recipes with you. He creates dishes you would have never dreamed of. Eating some of his delicious meals will have really astonishing side effects. They are so amazing that you can only prepare them once by yourself during the following year if you have successfully completed your apprenticeship. For example, one meal causes your muscles to grow and your melee fighting skills to enhance temporarily. Another meal will refill all your mana at once. You do not have to worry about forgetting the recipes you learn from Jean Pierre, since he will give you a cookbook as well. When Jean Pierre comes back next year, you can visit him again and brush up on your cooking abilities. You will then be able to cook his wonderful dishes once again.
While you can participate in the cooking event all by yourself, you will have to team up with others for the next event. In November, when winter is around the corner, deadly shadows threaten the lands of Tibia. Demonic and evil creatures are lurking in the dark corners, ready to attack. Light is the only protection Tibia Gold inhabitants have against these creatures. You and your friends can help preventing attacks from these dark and evil beings if you manage to keep ten lights burning for five days.If only one light goes out, you have failed and all evil will break lose in Tibia Gold for half a day. If you succeed, something great will come your way instead... It is really worth trying to keep the citizens of Tibia Gold safe.
Some of you might remember the backpack event in 2009. Participants of the backpack poll have determined that there should be a crown backpack, a demon backpack and a moon backpack in Buy Tibia Gold . Angus and Mortimer will be happy to sell the crown backpack to you if you have done the Explorer Society quest already. To receive the demon backpack and the moon backpack, you need to show great patience. Also, a good portion of luck is necessary, before you can call the moon backpack your own.

The spring patch is here!
In last week's teaser, we already announced the main new features it brings along. Let us recall the major changes:
All players are now able to report character names they find disturbing. For more details on how this works, please have a look at the corresponding FAQ entry.
Premium players can now enjoy two happy hours: Within the first two hours of stamina, which means up to hour 40, they get 50% more experience points.
If a character has 14 or less hours of stamina left when killing a monster as the highest damage dealer, the loot of the monster gets destroyed.
Besides several improvements of the bot detection tool, characters that are banished now get kicked out of the game within a narrow time frame.
In addition to the features presented in the teaser, some further changes have been made. Information about banishments will no longer be displayed on a character page from now on, no matter if the character is hidden or not.
Besides a couple of minor bug fixes, there is now a solution for the error that sometimes occurs when logging out. If the client tells you that you are already logged in with a character even though that is not the case, you will now just have to log in and out with the affected character to solve this problem.
The patch will be downloaded automatically when you log into the game. If you should encounter any problems, you can alternatively download the new client 8.55 from our download section.

Spring patch is around the corner
This year's spring patch is around the corner so we want to give you a short outlook on the features it will bring along.
Name Reports
As we already announced in the featured article about our vision of rule enforcement, the spring patch will enable all players to report character names directly to our customer support team. If you want to report a name, a new ingame reporting dialogue will guide you through the reporting process step-by-step. On your account management page, all reports you made within the last 30 days will be listed. A report will be pending until it gets processed by a customer support member. You will then see on your account page if a report was accepted or rejected.
To avoid the spamming of reports, there are two important regulations players need to keep in mind when reporting:
You may only have two pending reports at the same time on your account.
Within the last 30 days, the sum of pending and rejected reports you have may not exceed four.
If you reach one of these limits, you will have to wait until it does not apply anymore to be able to make further reports. Once again, we would like to emphasise that you should only report an illegal name if you really feel disturbed by it. If it does not bother you, you do not have to feel forced to report it just because it might violate a Tibia rule.
Bot Detection Tool Improved
Further improvements of our detection tool have been developed. Please understand that we cannot reveal further details about these tweaks except the following: Characters that receive a banishment will get automatically kicked out of the game within a narrow time frame. This is something that many players have wished for in the past.
Low Stamina, No Loot
In addition to our automatic detection tool, another anti-cheating measure will take effect. As you probably know, stamina indicates the time that is left until a character is too tired to gain experience while hunting in Tibia. With the spring patch, we will implement a feature specifically designed to prevent the unlimited profit gained by users of unofficial software. If a character with 14 or less hours of stamina left kills a monster as the highest damage dealer, the complete loot of the monster will be destroyed.
Extended Happy Hour
Premium players currently gain 50% more experience points for every monster killed in the first hour of stamina, which means up to hour 41. This sweet bonus helps players who do not have much time to play to keep up with others. We will make this even sweeter and expand this happy hour so that premium players get 50% more experience points within the first two hours of stamina, which means up to hour 40. In addition, the regeneration time of these two happy hours will get a little boost: For every 10 minutes a character is logged off, it regains 1 minute of its stamina.
Pits of Inferno Short Cuts
Up to now, the short cut between the Plains of Havoc and the room with the teleports to the demon domains gets activated only after leaving the reward room and completing the quest. However, reaching the teleport room is not that easy so we want to reward the brave adventurers who manage to get there by granting them access to the short cut as soon as they enter one of the throne rooms.
In addition, a new short cut will be activated once a character has completed the lever riddle. You can then use a quest door that allows you to skip the 4-way riddle and the lever riddle and takes you right to the point afterwards where you can continue the quest. Please note, that characters who already completed the lever riddle before the spring patch have to do it again to activate the short cut.
Miscellaneous
There will be several other things coming along with the spring patch:
If one of your characters receives a namelock, you will have three chances to rename it. If the third name proposal gets rejected as well, the character will receive a name from the name generator.
The fansite items of TibioPedia.pl (Ferumbras Doll), TibiaSpy.com (Orc's Jaw Shredder) and Tibia-Wiki.net (Bag of Oriental Spices) will get implemented.

With the spring patch, the character creation page will get a new make-over. We will add a filter that allows to sort worlds according to PvP-type and location. Furthermore, some extra information about the character world transfer will be added to the page you see before initiating a transfer.

Tibia guides is staggering
If you are familiar with the Internet at all, you have very likely seen online guides for games such as Tibia. The amount of available Tibia guides is staggering, as every website seems to offer some new Tibia guides on how to play your favorite game. But the truth is, most of these Tibia guides are simply rehashed versions of other Tibia guides located elsewhere. At MmorpGuides, only the best Tibia guides and Tibia information is available for the Tibia player to peruse, as there simply is no point in publishing a second hand or rehashed guide for the user when better information can be found elsewhere. With this dedication to a specific genre, it is a simple matter to provide the best Tibia guides and information to your favorite Tibia server as well as any number of other games online.
Taking the time to study a Tibia guide before even beginning to play the game can save you a tremendous amount of time and allow you to receive more XP, loot and just plain have more fun overall while playing Tibia online. Utilizing these Tibia guides is a simple matter of logging on and looking up your favorite game and learning more information about how to go about gaining XP and loot.
It is important to realize that not all Tibia guides are based on the same styles of play. Some Tibia guides are specifically for those who wish to grind on certain skills such as cooking or tailoring, while other guides are intended just for XP grinding, where the player simply kills monsters again and again for experience points.
Utilizing these Tibia guides is a smart move by the serious Tibia player and can save a tremendous amount of time in the long run.

The Skills of Tibia
Skills determine a character's ability to perform vital actions such as attacking with a weapon, blocking blows with shields etc. Unlike hit points or mana, skills do not improve when a character advances in level. Instead, skill levels increase through use, i.e. a character will train sword fighting when using an edged weapon, while his club fighting skill will gradually improve if he uses a blunt weapon. If a skill has been used often enough to advance, a white message will be displayed in the game window, and the skill level will automatically increase by one. The progress to the next skill level is indicated by a little bar underneath each skill. There are 8 different skills in Tibia. Most of them are related to the use of weapons:
Fist FightingThis skill determines your character's ability to fight with bare hands. Needless to say, characters do not cause much damage when fighting unarmed, even if they have a considerable fist fighting skill. Club FightingThis is a weapon skill. It covers blunt weapons such as clubs, maces, staffs and hammers. Sword FightingAnother weapon skill. This skill is needed to use any kind of edged weapons, from puny knives to mighty giant swords. Axe FightingSimilar to other weapon skills, your character will need the corresponding skill to successfully wield any kinds of axe, from hatchets to the legendary Stonecutter Axe. Also, this skill covers pole weapons such as halberds and lances. Distance FightingThis weapon skill covers all distance weapons. This includes thrown weapons such as stones and spears as well as bows and crossbows. ShieldingShielding is the ability to successfully block enemy attacks with a shield. Of course, characters need to hold shields in their hands in order to use this skill. Note that it is not possible to block more than 2 opponents at a time. FishingFishing differs from other skills in that you must actively use it every single time you try to catch a fish. To use this skill characters need a fishing rod and some worms in their inventory. Worms can be found in some monsters or can be bought at shops that also sell fishing rods. Equipped with the fishing gear, you will have to find a place close to a river or some other body of water that contains fish. Once you have found a suitable place all you need to do is to use the fishing rod on the water. Do not worry if you do not catch a fish immediately - your chance to catch one will increase with your fishing skill. However, please note that not all bodies of water contain fish, so if you have tried many times without success, it is probably a good idea to try your luck somewhere else. A worm will vanish from your inventory every time you actually catch a fish, so make sure you have always enough baits left. Magic LevelThe magic level is similar to regular weapon skills in that it directly influences the power of a character's spells. Thus, a druid with a high magic level will restore more hit points when casting a healing spell than a druid of comparable experience who has a lower magic level. This way it is even possible for a low-level spellcaster to cast spells that are more powerful than those of some high-level characters. Please see the manual section on magic for details. Thank you for your reading, hope this guide can give you some help to train your character better in the game!

War Heats Up on Amera!
The war on Amera intensified late last week with more groups joining in on the fighting. The guild Indecisve had been fighting off people from several guilds including Vehement Onslaught, Monster, and Keybored Warriors. Things had been at a relative stalemate with Indecisive having the advantage of higher levels, but the other coalition of guilds have a clear numbers advantage.
The tide seems to have changed with the addition of Mind Astray to Indecisive's side. These two guilds had previously been allies, but were estranged for some time due to internal conflicts. It all came to a head only a few short days ago during a battle in Ankrahmun's desert, with Mind Astray tricking members of the opposition into thinking they were going to join up with them. As the truth of the situation was revealed the battle turned into a veyr one sided affair.
These new events should certainly lead to some interesting times for Amera in the coming days and weeks.

Compensation in the Tibia
Our client fix from October 1 unfortunately caused some trouble. Due to technical problems, several clients unexpectedly crashed. As a result, some players suffered character deaths and maybe even lost items and blessings. This is an unpleasant situation for both players and CipSoft, and we deeply regret that those problems occurred.
As a form of apology, 7 days of premium time will be added to the 699 accounts which were identified as affected by this crash. This identification was based on two requirements, and both of them had to apply to an account in order to receive the compensation:
a crash report was sent to us, and:
the character that suffered from the reported crash died during the time the client version 8.51 was online.
This compensation benefits both premium and free account players. We sincerely hope that these premium days will help you recover your losses.

Create a message of the day
Almost every time you log into Tibia, a message of the day appears which contains important notes, gameplay hints or helpful tips for players. Possible topics for these messages were recently put to the vote. Out of the poll discussion thread we fished some interesting suggestions on how to make the messages of the day even more interesting for the players. Have a look at the news title and guess what! We will open them up for creations right from the community!
Over the course of one special week per month, starting in November, we will draw on selected player-made messages of the day. Everybody is welcome to submit messages in the designated thread on our event board.
That is how it works:
Post a short message of the day which you consider to be useful and interesting for other players. Community managers will read through your submissions and pick the most suitable messages. Every month, the selected messages will be displayed as messages of the day within a dedicated week. That week will be announced on the official website.
Please note that we might shorten your suggested messages and correct them if they contain spelling mistakes or grammatical errors. Also, please read the start post of the designated thread carefully in order to learn the general guidelines for your submissions.
Now it is your turn: what, do you think, could be useful and interesting for the community? Go on and create a message of the day by yourself.

A precious parcel 2
Yet, I prefer to wear the zaoan shoes I obtained recently, they make a perfect match with my zaoan armor, legs and helmet. So what else do I send? You'll probably like the spellweaver's robe. It protects you from energy damage and looks very elegant so you might want to wear it just to show-off. I'll also include two swift dagger-like weapons called Sais. Be careful though, they are extremely sharp. And don't get scared by the minotaur backpack, it's dead even though its eyes are following you no matter how you look at it. The wailing widow's necklace is actually a good light source so it might come in handy late in the evening. Ah yes, and I'll send you a distinctive lizard trophy which looks exactly like the monster that dropped it. Don't break it, please!
Last but not least, I'll send along another drawing I made. A few days ago, we witnessed an interesting fight between several lizards and two warriors, a man and a woman, both wearing an impressive armor with some kind of flags on their backs. They wielded their weapons with such grace and exquisite skill, the lizards didn't stand a chance. It was some kind of pole weapon topped with a sharp curved blade. They both looked like real warmasters. We didn't dare to approach them but I tried to capture their outfit in a sketch.
But now I have to go, dear friends. The traveller is waiting for me. Let's be honest... I promise to write you again but I have the feeling that a long time will pass before I'll be able to fulfil this promise. Please forgive me but it's better to bid you farewell. At least for now.
Don't worry too much about me, friends. Think of me with a smile on your face. I'll take care of myself.

A precious parcel 1
A few days ago, we community managers were told that the forthcoming update will bring along a solution for the snap-backs! After the update, they will only happen when it is actually possible to stack into the other creature, character or object. That means snap-backs will no longer occur on open and hardcore PvP worlds. On optional PvP worlds, stacks and snap-backs will only occur with other characters that are not involved in a war with you, with summoned creatures of such characters and also with magic walls and wild growth made by such characters.
Pleased with the good news, we were even more thrilled when we received a big, heavy parcel yesterday. We opened it with excitement and curiosity. Inside, there was a pile of all sorts of things and when we took them out one by one, we recognised many pieces of fine, excellent craftsmanship. We also found a letter inside the parcel, written by Amaro. We all breathed a sigh of relief.
My dear friends,
I've made it. Thanks to the traveller who saved my life more than once, I was finally able to cross the Dragonblaze Peaks. The nightmares I described in my last letter... they've become real. Those creatures... they are lurking everywhere here. But the numerous fights we had to engage in, the wounds we had to treat, made us stronger and more determined. The dark presence still has me in its relentless grip but I feel that I can now bear all this. I want to face it, I won't run away. There are so many things I'd like to tell you, but I have to hurry. The traveller and I have to break through another obstacle in our way... a great gate. Massive as if built by giants. It seems impassable but a true adventurer never gives up. I feel the dark presence pulsating behind so we have to find a way through, we have to find the source of the great evil that plagues this land. There's no time to lose... there are already enough lizards and drakens close on our heels, thirsting to revenge their slain brothers.
So I try to make it short. While travelling through Zao, I've collected several precious items and useful equipment. I don't want to drag everything along with me. I guess it's better to travel on swiftly and lightly so I'll send you the things I can spare. Please take good care of them, especially of the guardian boots. In a heavily guarded draken fortress deep below the Dragonblaze Peaks, we encountered numerous ghastly dragons... those vicious beasts from my dreams. I'm sure I would have died in this fight if it had not been for the help and comradeship of the traveller. After a long battle, we finally won and buried under the huge pile of corpses and tainted flesh, I found these splendid boots. Who knows who wore them before me?

Major game update 8.54 2
Back in November, we implemented the so-called snap-backs on all game worlds due to the introduction of the no-blocking gameplay feature on Optional PvP worlds. Based on the extensive feedback we received after the autumn patch, we have decided to make some adjustments . From now on, they only happen when it is actually possible to stack into the other creature, character or object. That means snap-backs no longer occur on Open and Hardcore PvP worlds. On Optional PvP worlds, stacks and snap-backs only occur with other characters that are not involved in a guild war with you, with summoned creatures of such characters and also with magic walls and wild growth made by such characters.
With the update, the borders of the following houses, which are all adjacent to water, have been changed back to like they were before the last summer update: Fibula Villa, Greenshore Villa, Carlin Lonely Sea Side Hostel, Carlin Clanhall, Carlin East Lane 2, Thais Upper Swamp Lane 12 and Cormaya 5. The river or sea borders now belong officially to the house again. Thus, items can be placed on them and will not disappear during an update map reset. Also, the old rental price has been restored.
We also have some interesting news for those of you who took part in the Lightbearer Event in November and helped to keep the lights burning long enough to drive away the evil forces that were threatening Tibia. While building a new ore wagon tunnel near the Kazordoon main entrance, the dwarves discovered a strange room and guess who they met inside! Lucius! It seems that many wealthy people sent him gifts of gratitude for saving their world. The dwarves tried to convince Lucius to hand those treasures over to them but good old Lucius knows quite well that those of you who helped to keep the basins burning actually deserve these rewards. So you should really pay him a visit if you helped your game world to succeed. Just purchase an ore wagon ticket as usual and stop by Lucius' treasure room. Besides a Fafnar statue in the room that allows you to claim the silver or golden trophy from the Lightbearer event, if you have not received it yet, you can also find 4 reward chests there which are accessible for everyone who has lit at least one basin on one of the 19 winning worlds . Characters who have lit all ten basins on one of the winning worlds can access 3 further reward chests. If you still have some midnight shards left, just take them along with you and hand them over to Lucius to exchange them.
To cut a long story short: Check out the new awesome content! The update will download automatically when you log into the game. If you should encounter any problems, you can alternatively download the new client 8.54 from our download section. Tomorrow, December 10, we are going to start a dedicated feedback thread for the update on our discussion board.

Major game update 8.54 1
Hurray Tibians! The waiting is over, it is finally here: please welcome this year's Christmas update. Sharpen your weapons, stock up with runes, put on your best dress and get ready to set out on new adventures!
There is a whole new continent waiting for you. East of Vengoth, the dwarfs have built an underground base camp called Farmine which can be reached via steamboats. It is a good starting point for all adventurers who are brave enough to venture out to explore the new land Zao, full of challenges and dangers. Prepare to face countless enemies, fearsome creatures never seen before and discover long forgotten secrets. Witness how the dark fate of an ancient civilisation slowly unveils in the course of your daring travels, missions and quests . Earn the right to wear a prestigious warmaster outfit , find precious new items, collect tomes of knowledge, join the siege of a city, fight in a big tournament on the mysterious Isle of Strife and become part of a resistance against the horrible threat that plagues this land. Who can stand the evil that flows thick through the veins of Zao? Who can bear the dark presence feasting on the energy and life of every living being there? Tibians, Zao needs you to withstand the perils at hand! It is a time for heroes so do not hesitate and help the exotic country to avert a disaster, to overcome the seemingly inevitable doom.
Adventurers who prefer to stay in already explored areas will also find many new items to discover. Many monsters in Tibia now drop new loot items and some of the old heavy items will be removed instead. The new loot items are not only lighter and stackable but also yield a better, or at least the same selling price like the removed items. Also, we have decreased or exchanged the food drops in most monsters, especially in easy monsters that dropped huge piles of meat or ham before. So chop some monsters to check out the loot changes.
Also, we sneaked a peek in Ruprecht's hut and spotted some splendid new things which he is probably willing to exchange for Christmas tokens.

Making of zao 5
Of course, a new continent, new quests and monsters also require lots of new names. For Zao, the content team wanted to have certain sounds. Everything lizardish should contain sounds similar to those of serpents or dragons, so they used a lot of "z" and "ch", also "ai"-endings for the slightly Asian feel and basically just made up names from that. The orcish stuff had to sound harder and warlike, and the cavemen names should have a tribal feel to it. Every team member can usually name the NPCs, monsters or dungeons he or she creates, but as for names of larger or important areas the whole team usually brainstorms together. It seems, however, that Chayenne has quite an obsession with names so she was probably the driving force behind the creation of many names.
Zao offers players many new challenges and areas to explore but also has a rich background story which was mainly developed by Knightmare. The corruption, the dark presence materialising in the black oily substance, is of course related to the history of Zao and one of its darkest secrets. What is behind the corruption is a question that Knightmare answers with nothing more than a mysterious smile since this secret is yet to be revealed. It will be a major theme to be encountered behind the Great Gate. Hints can be found and gathered already though. Zao's background story can be learned via various books and NPCs. Finding out what has happened in Zao is somewhat of a meta-quest which you don't have to follow in Zao but which gives those who are interested in history and background some playground. It is like a puzzle: Find the clues, piece things together and decide what to believe and what not. The story will be expanded and some secrets will get revealed with later updates. Some information will be exclusive and new, other bits and pieces might help to support or disprove certain theories. "And we have yet to find out how players interpret things," Knighmare adds. So while the content team was responsible for the making of Zao, it is now up to you, our players, to explore this continent, solve riddles, reveal secrets and develop theories.

Making of zao 4
The main questline The New Frontier included something new concerning the character's progress: the base camp develops further as your character advances in the main questline so you really see the fruits of your success and your actions actually do change something. In a multiplayer game it is somewhat difficult to change the world since it would affect all players but in such a limited area with the given space and time frame it was a new interesting approach. Some ideas, however, had to be dropped in the planning phase. Originally, the content team wanted to open the area and story behind the Great Gate as well for this update. However, they can only create a certain number of quests and story bits. Had they extended the area even further, it would have been impossible to back it up with a tight story and good quests. Thus, they saved it for later together with some monster races that actually should have made their appearance according to the original concept. Lionet reveals that one of his ideas was to give players the impression of Zalamon recruiting individuals for his resistance: "I wanted to add various NPCs to his underground hideout in the steppe. The player would have been able to talk to them and they would have said a few lines. However, to make this plausible I would have had to create quite a few separate and unique versions of his hideout. However, due to the large amount of content we implemented in this update, there was simply no time to include it."
Certain things are also rather tricky to make and really pose a challenge. Chayenne explains that the Zzaion raid, for example, was quite complicated since she needed to find a way to open those gates during a raid, make sure that they stay open until next server save and then close again without locking characters in: "I eventually did it with ten hidden switches under Zzaion that are triggered by, uhm, rats that also spawn during the raid. Some of them appear just one time for a few seconds and do things like opening the gate or setting the walls on fire, others stay until the raid has ended and trigger a few special effects like fire raining from the sky. I'm still a bit disappointed though that the effects don't look half as spectacular as I hoped them to be and are over within a second each time."
The riddle in the mountain temple was another tricky thing to do since it had to be easy enough to quickly understand it and at the same time just as complex to provide the right amount of challenge. "The concept I had was modelled with a rather complicated set of rules and scripts and at first turned out quite nicely," Lionet points out. "After some testing offside the regular solution, however, several colleagues made it by just randomly switching levers for some time - and that is what many players probably do to complete the quest, oh well."

Making of zao 3
Jan mentions that the request for a steppe- or savannah-like environment came from the content team and was flying around as an idea for a very long time: "We felt that this would give us a very interesting mix to work with in addition to the corruption theme and a shot of visually Asian looking influences and also allow us to create something new and different to the existing areas in Tibia. The pool of environment graphics in Tibia is vast and can already be combined in many different ways to achieve all sorts of atmospheres, but we expanded on that a great deal again with this update with reusable more generic floor textures. Even the rather big landmark stone dragon statue that can be found at the big gate can be put together in different ways."
While Jan is mainly responsible for creating ingame graphics and textures, the content team plans and assembles everything and builds all the beautiful landscapes in Tibia. In the case of Zao, it was already set since the Yalahar update that the new map expansion would take place east of Vengoth.
At first, the general shape of the new continent was created. Just on the floor level, without any mountains and dungeons. Then, everyone in the team got a printed shape of the new area and drew his or her version of the map: where the mountains are located, the cities and how the area should look like in general. Different designs were talked through and after having come to a conclusion, the areas were assigned to different team members. As soon as they had received the graphics they had requested from the graphics department, they started to build the new areas. "First of all, the general floor tiles and shapes were set, followed by houses, ruins, quest areas and unique landmarks. In the end, decoration such as plants, stones or even rubbish were added," Denson Larika explains. "For the Dragonblaze Peaks, for example, I worked from ground level to the top. Level after level. Then I hollowed the peaks and built the caves for the dragons." The monsters were placed after the whole map work was done. What followed was a time of adjustments and fine-tuning, hopping on and off the internal test server to test hunting grounds. With the start of the external test server, the whole content team was then busy with bug fixing and tweaking things further.
The ideas for the quests and missions in Zao came along with the development of the new continent. Certain quest types were necessary to introduce players to the new area, its inhabitants and its lore, and to guide them around. Other quest ideas evolved around the given themes. The Tomes of Knowledge quest, for example, is a nice way to unlock things like nifty furniture and creepy dungeons. At the same time, the content team could use them to make some selected excerpts of the massive background story accessible in smaller bits for those who are interested in it.

Making of zao 2
Inspirations usually come from many different sources and sometimes it is hard to tell how an idea came into mind. Concerning Zao, some players sensed influences of H.P. Lovecraft's works. But according to Knightmare there is no true Lovecraftian influence even though the underlying theme of the update might share some similarities with themes Lovecraft tended to use: "The lizardmen are 'just' lizardmen like they exist in several fantasy publications and even in Tibia already. The Dragonblaze Peaks got their snow tops due to the idea of becoming red in the fading sun, giving them their name. Corruption in itself is not such an unique concept at all. You can find that theme in many newer fantasy works, which is probably more connected to modern environmentalism then to H.P. Lovecraft."
Chayenne admits that the Unnatural Selection quest is a little inspired by one of her favourite games ever, Chrono Trigger, in which you also spend some time with a primitive human tribe and get to party with them: "I racked my brain over how I could possibly script something like a tribal hunt or a big party with the possibilities we have and the 'dance dance revolution' bit was what I eventually came up with and which turned out to be pretty fun."
In Zao, characters can also earn the right to wear a new outfit. Both the overall theme of the update and the war system inspired Jan to design the impressive warmaster outfit: "I wanted to take the opportunity to create something that goes along well with that, something to go to war with, that looks cool in an epic battle. I love those huge battle scenes where armies of well equipped warriors with little flags on their backs charge at each other, some smashing into each other wildly, others forming a disciplined phalanx with their naginatas, order amongst all this wild chaos, no fear...glory!" So it seems that the Samurai theme was an easy choice.
Nevertheless, the whole design of Zao took quite some time. The steppe, for example, should have a really vast feel to it and it took several weeks until both the content team and Jan were happy with the colour palette of the area, especially with the buildings. The original colours were much more greyish-brownish mixed with green and purple, but it just looked boring somehow and it was not until red and black contrasts were added that all were finally satisfied with the overall look of the area.

Making of zao 1
Since the release of the Christmas update 2009, many brave adventurers have already ventured into Zao to explore its mysteries and face the numerous challenges waiting there. In this featured article, we want to provide you with some background information on the creation of this new continent. The content team members Chayenne, Knightmare, Denson Larika, Lionet and Tibia's graphic artist Jan are the ones who gave birth to the amazing new content the Christmas update brought along.
Such a great new land mass with tons of new monsters and quests is the result of good teamwork. During the planning phase of an update, the content team has to decide who will mainly take care of which map area and which quests. "Everyone gets to do a little of everything, but mostly we try and find arrangements so that everyone can focus on the tasks he or she likes most or is best at," Chayenne tells us. "Jan is our man for all those beautiful graphics, of course, and also coordinates our external artists. Knightmare writes a lot of the great stories as well as larger and challenging questlines like The New Frontier or some crazy ones like Isle of Evil. He also brings most monsters to life. Dens is really great at designing awesome areas with a high detail level and writing fun quests stuffed with complex scripts like everything in and around Beregar or the Treasure Hunt. For me it depends how much time I have besides organising everything. I like to design large and story-filled questlines as well such as Blood Brothers, but also small and fun bits like Eclesius' quest or Unnatural Selection. I also implement most new features such as the content side of the marriage system or Travora and love to chew complicated scripts and riddles over. Lionet likes that too, I think, judging from the riddle in his Children of the Revolution quest, but has also proven to be an excellent map editor and story writer with the Muggy Plains - a great addition to our team!"
We community managers were lucky enough to get a peek of the new content every now and then during the development phase of the Christmas update. What we saw looked amazing and it was fascinating to see the continent and the quests grow and evolve.
In the beginning, the basic idea for the update was to create a place where monsters are civilised and humans dwell in dungeons. The content team decided for an Asian flavour spiced up with a slightly gothic touch that would not turn out to be that typical cookie-cutter Asian area known from other games. So to make it look different, they tried to mix in certain elements such as the corruption theme, for example, and the fact that the area is actually ruled by dragons whereas humans play a minor role. The minotaurs were the first monster choice for the new area since their weaponry already showed Asian influences in the earlier Tibian times. But of course, the content team also wanted something more exotic than just minotaurs and orcs so they added the lizardmen. The dragonkin rounded off the picture since dragons are often associated with Asian themes.

create a message of the day
Due to the great success of our recent player-made message of the day week from November 2009, we decided to start a second round today. Everybody is welcome again to suggest own messages by posting them in the designated thread on the event board.
That is how it works:
Post a short message of the day which you consider to be useful and interesting for other players. Community managers will read through your suggestions and pick the most suitable messages. The selected messages will be displayed as messages of the day within a dedicated week. That week will be announced on the official website.
Please note that we might shorten your suggested messages and correct them if they contain spelling mistakes or grammatical errors. Also, please read the start post of the designated thread carefully in order to learn the general guidelines for your submissions.
Now grab your keyboard, loosen your fingers and create a message of the day by yourself!

Anti-Cheating measures reloaded
A couple of days ago, the product managers of Tibia and the managing directors of CipSoft called us community managers to a meeting to announce the latest management decisions concerning our fight against cheating - a topic which has become pretty controversial within the community shortly after the publication of our featured article " Where Will Cheaters Go From Here? " in January 2009. A lot of time has passed since then, but this time has not been wasted.
Until the present day, a huge amount of data about cheaters in Tibia has been collected, analysed, evaluated and reevaluated. Only recently, this whole process has reached a point when sufficient statistical information was accumulated which allowed to draw comprehensive and truly reliable conclusions about the cheating situation, and to plan our next strategic steps. The first steps are taking effect straightaway:
Improved detection
Thanks to the detailed analyses of the past months, the efficiency and power of our automatic detection tool was significantly improved. This enhancement instantly resulted in a remarkable boost of detections: Today, 16,598 Tibia accounts have been excluded from the game for using unofficial software to play during the last couple of weeks.
Permanent final warnings
From now on, there will be permanent punishments for all players who gained permanent advantages through the act of cheating which includes the use of unofficial software to play, account sharing and account trading. As many of you have requested in the past, every single account which is identified for having cheated will now get a permanent final warning that does not vanish any more after 6 months. Also, all accounts which currently have a final warning due to the use of unofficial software to play, account sharing or account trading will not lose this warning either. In case of any further rule violation that would lead to a banishment, accounts with a permanent final warning will be automatically deleted without any prior warning.
These two adjustments of our anti-cheating policy sound the bell for the next round of our fight against cheating. At this point, we would like to thank all of our fair players for your unbelievable amount of patience, your commitment to Tibia and your amazing support during the past months. We owe you a lot.

Tibian memories 3
Funny stories added on February 05 :
Colzpaggie : I was exploring around, I loved the Tibian lands. I wanted to know more, what's over there? What's in there? What if I do that... Anyways... I was walking and walking, and I came across a hole! For those who know me, they can easily guess what was the first thoughts of me. Yup, I wanted to know what's in there! But I was afraid of few monsters, like that poison spider! Anyways, I decided to keep going. But to make sure that I wont lose any of my equipment in case of dying, I grab them all into my backpack and hide it in nearly safe place. And now I'm totally without any gear! I went down, walking and walking... Uhhh. It's all safe, I'm alive and there's nothing to be afraid of. So, I'm done here, shall I leave? Yea,... Urhh.. My rope? Where is it? WHERE THE HECK IS MY ROPE?!!
Yetharius : Before I really understood how to use parcels, I used to put some stuff behind a tree, log out, and go on another character and grab the items. But then I decided it was too risky and decided to not be so lazy and actually READ about how to use parcels. Actually parceling is quite simple, and I have no idea why I was foolish enough not to use it sooner. At any rate, I parceled a few empty bags to myself, then a few pieces of gold. After I was impressed enough to know it works, I made a whole new character, got him to level 8 and took him to the Thais depot. Then parceled all my items to my new character. But the box just stood there on the mailbox! OMG! Of course, a few players who often hang around the depot begging saw this as a great opportunity for some free "itens" and scrambled to get the package. As luck would have it, someone who I am relatively familiar with got it safely to a depot box and he stood there until I managed to get beside him. I thanked him profusely and checked the parcel's label. But the name and location was fine! I logged out and then back into the new level 8 character. But my friend was no longer there in the depot. In fact, everyone was different, and the rubbish on the depot floor was moved. Then it hit me. I made the guy on a different server.
Victory Paladin : Once, I was going to Plains of Havoc and found a lower level player. He had his life very low and politely asked for a food. Because of kindness, I gave my only dragon ham to him. Without hesitation he took it and threw it in a lake. Confused, I asked why he had done this, he asked me a question: "You think I'm stupid? You think I do not know is that meat is poisoned? You're trying to kill me, you noob." After crying with laughter, I returned to my hunt and never offered dragons ham for low level players again.
Hupefupe : It was 2006 or 2007 and my guild engaged in a forever-lasting war. We've been losing terribly to the opposite team, but unexpectedly some high level elite knight joined us. He was very ambitious and devoted, so he advanced in ranks really fast. After a month he'd join our ventrilo and ask: "How do you become a vice leader?" “"You can't, unless you send your application to our leader and he accept it," we responded. After a short conversation, he got an address and all details. Before we explained that it was a joke, he disconnected from Ventrilo and headed to local post office to send an application (photo included!). Our leader back then was [...] Israeli. I can imagine his face after receiving a mail from Polish applicant who asks to become a vice leader of guild Eternal March.

Tibian memories 2
Rejana : When I began my Tibian life in Rookgaard, a bit more than 5 years ago, I earned my living by killing animals and selling meat to NPCs. So I thought that trading food is a good way to make money. Then when I came to Venore, I was pretty lost at first and after I had bought my first spell, also broke. So I thought: "OK, I need to make money." Since I had no idea where to go, I fished for a while. After I had about 10 fish, I wanted to find out where I could sell it, so I asked in the chat channel: "Where can I sell fish?" - a player messaged me and said: "I buy, how many you got?" - I answered truthfully: "10". He said he would take all, and I was happy to have found a buyer that quickly. Nervously I got ready for the trade. When he saw that I offered 10 single fish, he broke out in loud laughter, just said "noob" and left. I was confused, and didn't understand what happened, so I messaged him again, and asked what I had done wrong. And he said that he had expected that I had 10 BPs of fish, that he had never heard of anybody trying to sell 10 single fish.
Mirade : If I remember correctly, it was back in 2008 when I suddenly felt the need to get a better outfit for my character to make her look more fancy. The jester outfit looked cute and seemed rather easy to get. I started to collect some things for the outfit quest. I had the pretty amount of around 15k sleeping in my bank account - which was quite much for me - so I decided to buy green tunics to trade them for a green piece of cloth since you need one in the quest. But then I thought it might be a good idea to have several green pieces of cloth in store, just in case... At that time 40 green tunics were necessary to get 1 green piece of cloth from Irmana. 10 green pieces of cloth sounded like a decent number so I had to buy 400 green tunics. I withdrew 10k from my bank account, enough money to buy them from Rudolph in Edron. Well, something I had not considered was my capacity. I was around level 22, I think, with a maximum capacity of 820, but it was always pending between 300 and 400 due to my equipment. So I bought 400 green tunics that weighed more than 3000 oz together!!! I was so shocked when I realised that the majority of my green tunics was placed on the square I was standing on, only a few had made it into my backpack... Yeah, what happened then was me running back and forth between Rudolph and the depot in Edron trying to save as many tunics as possible. Of course, there were some players who noticed the pile of tunics, made fun of the situation and spread them all across the shop. In the end, I managed to secure around 250 tunics. Well, at least I proved to be worthy of the jester outfit, I guess Bozo would have laughed himself to tears if he had seen me running to and fro.

Tibia News & Events & Guides
You and your friends can help preventing attacks from these dark and evil beings if you manage to keep ten lights burning for five days.
If only one light goes out, you have failed and all evil will break lose in Tibia Gold for half a day.

A great place for Lv 8s in main to hunt are the troll caves in Ab'Dendriel.
Find the cave entrance in the center of town and go down two floors, then
proceed north. You will see a door. If the door is locked, go to the cave
to the left and find an elf named Shrith. Say "Ashari" then "Key" to him.
Buy the key from him for 50 gold. Go back to the door and use the key on it.
Go north. Then, use the key on the other door if needed. Proceed up and explore.
Note: Do not be afraid to go down the ladders in the center; the only thing in
this cave is trolls, and lots of them.
Level Eight:
------------
Don't train in rook. Come instead to the main area then get the key in the
harbor. Then train in the troll cave under the graveyard in Carlin. If they
touch your monsters, kill them.
Leveling, and gaining gold and skills (Note: Premium suggested):
----------------------------------------------------------------
Mages: Rune making while leveling at northwest rot worm cave, Hell-Gate
using summons, party hunt on GS and Draggy's. Note: For mages, train Magic
to 50+ and level to 42+ and wait until you can go for Armageddon questing
(after its update)
Knights: Train until 75/75 skills (Eq: Knight set, Bright Sword/Fire Axe/Skull
Staff, 5 bps of uh). Hunting area: Poh, Mino kingdom, Kaz Dwarf Mines,
Edron, Darashia.
Paladins: Train skills up to 78/62+ (Eq: X-bow, 500 Bolts, 2 bp of uh,
Crown Set, and Boots Of Haste). Most recommended area to level up: Poh
(with at least 400 bolts). Party Hunts: Poh: Knights block, while Paladin
and Mages attack, Demon-Knights block, two Mages stand by to heal, three
Mages SD, two paladins SD and shoot Bolts.
Easy experience and GP:
-----------------------
When playing an advanced Knight, in Ab'Dendriel, there is a small castle
called Elven Bane. It is northwest of the Elven Fortress. In ElvenBane's
basements, you will find good monsters to level on and some armor called
"Chain Armor", which you can sell to the the NPC in Ab'Dendriel for 70 GP.
When you level to 20, you should be able to fight most of the monsters in
the entire castle. You should at least be level10 and have the following
equipment for your character to survive:
Soldier Helmet
Scale Armor
2 Handed sword
Brass Legs
Free watch:
-----------
When in Thais, travel east out of town. Go into to the Orc tunnels on the first
underground floor. There is a room with two beds and a treasure chest. Inside
the chest is a watch. When used, the watch will tell you what time it is in
Tibia.

Tibia Skill training 2
Paladins, however, is the same concept with different uses of the balls. Every bloodhit u make would put 2 balls into the basket, not one. Shielld training is the same, but I have not comfirmed the amount of balls the "basket" can hold. The above finding was with arrows, so I am not sure about any other skill training items (spears, throwing stars, small stones, snowballs).
There are many different places where u can skill train. All monsters can be used, but some are more effective than others. Here is a list which I reccommend.
1) Swamp Trolls. U can find a place, use parcels to get 2 swamp trolls attacking you and skill train there. Be warned that they can poison you, but they often drop fish so not much of a problem. They poison you with a Armor hit though (99% comfirmed).
2)Minotaurs, Dwarves, Rotworms. You can find minotaurs to train. I have so far only found one place with them, Folda. Dwarves can be found in the dwarf mines near Kaz, with rotworms. It is reccommended to go to places where people hardly go to for skill training here. For rots you could probable try the sewers in Carlin, but you must be lucky there r hardly people around.
3)Slimes. Slimes are one of the best and yet dangerous skill training monsters. For the fact that they multiple, u can skill train with tem for hours on end, but if three is on you, you'll get hit hard. The carlin sewers is the best place to do this, do to the exploitation of the terrain. Get a friend to help u with the exploitation.
4)Ghouls. Ghouls are able to heal themselves, making them extremely useful for skill training. But they are dangerous themselves and are hard to find with 2 or more ghouls and their life draining abilities is not too welcomed. You can try, but beware.
5)Polar bears or bears. These are good for early skill training as they have high defense and hitpoints. I used to train on these, but i found another place better after some exploration.
6)Femor Hills, the power ring quest room and the one before. There are a lot of goblins but they throw stones. Hardly people come here.
7)Cyclops. Yes, cyclops. They are deadly, but with a good shielding skill (55 i think), you can use them for skill training. So far i think the Thais Lighthouse is most useful for this. Get two friends to lock you in. But hope they are trustworthy.
Hope you can learn more about tibia from this skill can make much more tibia money for your character!

Tibia Skill training
Tibia Skill training is the only way which Knights and Paladins, two of the vocations which need skills to become stronger and better. The only way for them to become stronger with skills is to skill train. Although skill training is tough, distance is easier to train than melee skills (swording, axeing, clubbing, fisting). Skill training allows the above mentioned vocations kill and block stronger monsters. However, be warned, levels are just as important ,if no more!
How to skill train?
One of the most famous ways to understand skill training is the Basket, Pool and Ball. For example, you take a basket and put in one ball for every hit u made with ur fist/axe/club/sword and put in a ball. The basket can only hold 30 balls, so when you make the monster you are skill training with bleed, u empty the balls into the pool. When the pool is full, you gain a level up in the skill. However, shielding is a bit different. For every hit your skill training monsters hit, including POOFS (Shield blocked), YELLOW EXPLOSION (Armor blocked) and BLOOD HIT (you got hit with damage), you put a ball into the basket. In order to empty it, you must make a BLOODHIT on the monsters u are training with.
SUmmary:
1) You must make a bloodhit every 30 hits or else the hits after the 30 is not counted
2) When shield training, you must make a blood hit every 30 hits on you from the monsters
3) You gain the skills gradually while hunting but it is very slow

Paladins
Paladins are balanced warriors.
Knights
Knights are the strongest, toughest and most resilient warriors in Tibia.

Sorcerers
Sorcerers are magic users.
Druids
Druids are pure magic users.

Distance Fighting on Rookgaard 2
Because of these stats, spears work effectivly to kill these monsters easily. A high distance skill is needed though. The strength of these monsters is not worth fighting against if you are low level. By the time it would take a level two to kill a minotuar with spears he/she could kill seven rats with melee and earn twenty more experience and have much more hitpoints left afterwards. And by the time someone is done training with spears to get respectful distance, they could be atleast level six by then. Training on Rookgaard with distance at low level is pointless and a waste of time. Save the distance training for mainland where your advances to rapidly pour in.
Melee Fighting on Rookgaard. The quickest way to leave the island would choose one of the three melee weapons listed above depending on which skill you prefer to advance in, and kill small monsters until level eight. However, by choosing one of the fastest methods below you will be forced to use sword fighting skill.
Choosing a Hunting Method. Now we are ready to begin. According to this Strategy Guide there are four ways of hunting on Rookgaard. For premiums there is the fastest way, and most efficient way. For free accounts it is the same. If you would like to leave the island extremely quick but have bad skills, and not much money then please follow the fastest path. If you wish to stay a little longer and have a decent amount of money and skills then please follow the efficiency plan. These may not be the fastest or most effecient ways. As said in the warning above, this is for hunting purposes only. Most quests are not mentioned. Also, as one of the most eldest hunting Rookgaardians I must keep some of my own secrets. Many Rookgaardians may not agree with these methods which is acceptable, but for those who have poor strategies or no strategy at all this section will prove quite worthy.

Distance Fighting on Rookgaard 1
Rookgaard - The "hated" island which many Tibians everyday have to struggle through and endure the uncountable annoying traits the island has to provide. With this said, my first and one of my most greatest hints shall be passed on to you right away. Other than seeing Rookgaard as a horrible place, you must first create a whole new perspecitive of the island in your mind as soon as you teleport down in to Cipfried's temple. Think of the island as being a vacation away from home (mainland) and you are here to have as much fun as possible. The stronger your disregard for the island, the longer this process will seem. If you ever become stressed, or perhaps someone succeeds in making you angery...always remember that you will soon be out of here and living at home very soon.
Weapons
Melee weapons: Katana (sword skill), Sword (sword skill), Mace (club skill), Hatchet (axe skill)
Distance weapons: Bow and arrows (distance skill), Spears (distance skill).
Distance Fighting on Rookgaard
My best reccomendation is to avoid using distance fighting while on Rookgaard, unless you plan on staying on the island permantly. A spear has a higher attack\higher amount of misses than any other weapon on Rookgaard, so it proves most effective on stronger monsters. Theres no point in constantly missing a spider when you can easily attack and kill it with a melee weapon much quicker. The three monsters specifically designed to kill with spears would be orc spearmen, rotworm, and minotuar. The orc spearmen though would have to be the one of the two found on premium side since there is not enough room for them to run. On free side there is far too much open space for the spearmen to run in, so melee attack would be best against it.

Tibia Skills Guide 2
Club Fighting
This is a weapon skill. It covers blunt weapons such as clubs, maces, staffs and hammers.
Sword Fighting
Another weapon skill. This skill is needed to use any kind of edged weapons, from puny knives to mighty giant swords.
Axe Fighting
Similar to other weapon skills, your character will need the corresponding skill to successfully wield any kinds of axe, from hatchets to the legendary Stonecutter Axe. Also, this skill covers pole weapons such as halberds and lances.
Distance Fighting
This weapon skill covers all distance weapons. This includes thrown weapons such as stones and spears as well as bows and crossbows.
Shielding
Shielding is the ability to successfully block enemy attacks with a shield. Of course, characters need to hold shields in their hands in order to use this skill. Note that it is not possible to block more than 2 opponents at a time.
Fishing
Fishing differs from other skills in that you must actively use it every single time you try to catch a fish.
Magic Level
The magic level is similar to regular weapon skills in that it directly influences the power of a character's spells. Thus, a druid with a high magic level will restore more hit points when casting a healing spell than a druid of comparable experience who has a lower magic level. This way it is even possible for a low-level spellcaster to cast spells that are more powerful than those of some high-level characters. Please see the manual section on magic for details.

Tibia Skills Guide 1
Fist Fighting
This skill determines your character's ability to fight with bare hands. Needless to say, characters do not cause much damage when fighting unarmed, even if they have a considerable fist fighting skill.
